My favourite things (Suzanne Britt)

 This was an interesting article to read because the author literally likes junk or untidiness, but the the way she wrote the paragraph painted a serene picture of these things. An example is when she wrote about liking "a Dr Pepper can floating on the sun-flecked water" which is actually litter but her description makes it seem beautiful. This shows me that it is critical to be able to properly illustrate scenes when writing.
