Dream Houses (Tenaya Darlington)

Tenaya Darlington describes her first home as having one bathroom, tub and no shower. Her description gave the house she grew up in as feeling overcrowded when both her parents and her brother would be using the bathroom and the same time for different things and how she eagerly waited to move out. Twenty years later her parents moved into a house she described as a ski lodge or retreat for dreamers. The only problem is that the dream house is in the woods void of neighbors although it offers a beautiful scenery.

From time to time while visiting, she and her brother would drive back to their first home and appreciate the neighborhood and the memories attached to the house. This reminds me of the phrase "the grass is always greener on the other side" which means a person will never be truly satisfied when their dreams come through because there will always be better whether its in the past or future.
